Artemis Simmons is a second year graduate student working on their MAs in History and Women & Gender Studies. She received her BA in history through George Mason and has been working here ever since. Currently, she is the Graduate Professional Assistant for the Women & Gender Studies Center.
Artemis is working on their thesis exploring queer storytelling and epistemologies through the lens of Thomas(ine) Hall, a gender-queer individual from colonial Virginia.
