Nichole is a PhD Student of Cultural Studies at George Mason University, having a research interest in the rise of online social media as a conduit for social justice movements. She received her Bachelors in Sociology with a minor in Gender Studies at Monmouth University and a Masters in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at the George Washington University.
Her research interests include Social Movements, Marxist Feminism, Labor Movement History, and Anti-Rape Activism.
During her undergraduate degree she was a founding member and served as President of the Monmouth University's Gender Studies Club, a movement dedicated to eradicating gender inequality on campus. She was a member of the Not Alone Student Committee to Ending Sexual Violence on Campus, and organized several actions in solidarity of survivors of sexual violence.
At George Washington University she served on the Progressive Student Union Coordinating Committee to end exploitation of the University's In-House Custodial Workers. She was the 2019 recipient of the National Women Studies Endowment Award, and continues to contribute to Women in and Beyond the Global (WIBG), a feminist Open Access forum that seeks to transform relationships among digital media, gender and democracy. WIBG, "begins its investigation of the exploitation of women's paid and unpaid labor within and beyond four social-spatial structures: the global Household, the global Prison, the global City, and global Information Networks."
