Gender Wage Gap Watch Party!
Thursday, November 15, 2012 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM EST
Johnson Center, B (3rd floor)
The WGST Center will be hosting a Watch Party with AAUW on current research concerning the gender wage gap this Thursday, November 15th, 3:30-4:30p.m. in JC Room B (3rd floor). AAUW's new research report finds that, just one year after college graduation, women are already earning less than their male peers. One immediate effect of the pay gap – female college graduates pay a bigger chunk of their paychecks to student loan debt than male college graduates, which means that women have less to live on.
Please join the conversation as a panel of experts including Lisa Maatz, AAUW's Director of Public Policy & Government Relations, and Mark Kantrowitz, Publisher of FinAid and Fast Web, experts on college loans, scholarships and student financial aid explore various aspects of this important issue. We look forward to seeing you!
