Spring 2024 DEI Lecture Dr. Stephanie Rambo

Stephanie’s manuacript-in-progress considers spatial and visual depictions of black girlhood in African American literature. In her talk, she will discuss some of the archival research she conducted that informs the book project and considers visual histories alongside literary narratives to interrogate both racial inscriptions and gazes.
