Women and Gender Studies 2010-11 Scholar’s Lecture
Eden King, Psychology, will present a paper on "Diversity at Work: Understanding and Improving the Experiences of Stigmatized Workers"
Dr. King will present results from laboratory and field research which document the workplace experiences of women, ethnic minority, gay and lesbian, obese, religious minority, and pregnant employees. In addition, Dr. King will describe evidence-based strategies for individuals and organizations to improve the experience of diverse workers.
