Love Her Fiercely Presents:
Women of Celebration
The Origin & Separation of Black Hair

Love Her Fiercely will be hosting a discussion and history lesson of African American hair as a part of our miniseries. We will explore the historical context of black hair, a timeline of hair progression in the black community, struggles minority women go through to achieve "Good Hair" (also exploring the definition of "Good hair") and explore Chris Rock's movie "Good Hair" and how it not only exposed what minority women go through for their hair, but changed the view of minority women in other communities. We will also have Chris Tia, author of "Thank God I'm Natural" as a keynote speaker.
