For the very first time on May 5th, 2016, Women and Gender Studies joined forces with LGBTQ Resources to celebrate graduating students at the 8th annual LAV Grad. This year’s graduating class consisted of 31 fantastic individuals. Three of these individuals, David Powers Corwin, Taylor Sprague and Rodrigo Velasquez served as student speakers with Rodrigo being the recipient of The Brian Picone Award for his leadership & advocacy excellence.
