WGST Certifcate Student Wins 2016 Summer Research Fellowship

Christian Suero was selected as a recipient of George Mason University’s 2016 Summer Research Fellowship. This fellowship provides funding for masters and doctoral level students during the summer to concentrate on their individual graduate work. The fellowship awards up to $5,000.00 for master students and up to $7,000.00 doctoral students.

Christian Suero is pursuing his graduate degree in Sociology and a graduate certificate in Women and Gender Studies at George Mason University. His research focuses heavily on the intersectionality of first generation students and wellbeing, in the context of paid/unpaid labor. Congratulations Christian!
