Holly Kearl, Feminist Activist, to Teach a WGST Course this Summer

Holly Kearl is an expert on gender-based violence and is the founder of the non-profit Stop Street Harassment and a consulate for the United Nations and the State Department. This summer Holly Kearl is teaching Representations of Women, a class that discusses the way women are portrayed in the media. Students will evaluate the effects of those representations on the social, political and economic lives of women around the world. The class will meet the requirement for the Global Issues gen ed and will take place during session 1B Monday-Wednesday 4:30-7:30pm.
