WGST Students Present at CHSS Undergraduate Research Symposium
Dr. Nancy Hanrahan, Leslie Temple, Dr. Angie Hattery
The College of Humanities and Social Sciences hosts a symposium each Spring highlighting undergraduate research. Two of our students, Mabinty Quarshie and Leslie Temple, were selected to present their work during the April 30th event. Mabinty delivered an oral presentation entitled, “It Takes a Village to Raise a Child: Communal Influence in Toni Morrison’s Sula”. Her research was sponsored by Keith Clark from the Department of English.  Leslie Temple presented a poster titled, “Intimate Partner Violence Awareness Campaign”, which she developed during Angie Hattery’s course on Intimate Partner Violence. We would like to congratulate both Mabinty and Leslie on their scholarly work.
