Professor Amal Amireh Gives Fenwick Fellows Lecture

Professor Amal Amireh, the 2008-2009 Fenwick Fellow, will give the annual Fenwick Fellow Lecture on April 7, 2010 in the Johnson Center, Room A, at 2 - 4 pm.  Her lecture is entitled "Between Nationalism and Globalization: Representations of Arab Masculinity in Arab Popular Culture."  The Fenwick Fellowship is awarded annually to a Mason faculty member to pursue a research project that uses and enhances the University Libraries' resources while advancing knowledge in his or her field. It is intended to assist research by faculty members as well as enhance the collections of the University Libraries. The fellowship provides one award of up to $5,000 for research materials and assistance, along with the use of an office in the Fenwick Library.
