Associate Professor Andrew Novak, Department of Criminology, Law and Society, is serving as the current faculty-in-residence with Mason's LGBTQ+ Resources Center.
He is compiling a list of scholarship and scholarly work at Mason around LGBTQ+ related topics, as well as a database of scholars at Mason who identify as LGBTQ+. The hope for this work is to create a network of LGBTQ+ scholars and allies in order to create opportunities for mentorship, collaboration, and support, and to showcase the breadth and depth of research here at Mason.
