Celebrating Asian Pacific American Heritage Month at Mason

The Asian Pacific American Coalition, Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Multicultural Education (ODIME), and LGBTQ+ Resources department are co-sponsoring Asian Pacific American Heritage Month (APAHM), which began late March and ends early May.

Students, faculty, and community members are encouraged to attend these ongoing events throughout this spring semester. This year’s theme for APAHM is “Our faces, Our voices”. This theme was chosen in order to challenge the erasure of the many contributions and importance of Asian, Pacific Islander, and Desi communities in academia, while reflecting on the extensive histories and legacies of their cultures.
