The Welcome2Mason Pizza Party is the annual Women and Gender Studies and LGBTQ Resources contribution to welcome week for over five years now. This year Women and Gender Studies kicked off the fun and programming on August 30, 2017 from 11am to 2pm and had over fifty students come into the center. Faculty and staff were also present during the social and even participated in activities! Specifically for this Welcome2Mason Pizza Party, things were spiced up and there was a bingo giveaway. Every half hour, there would be a new winner that had the opportunity to win a WGST shirt or Mason WGST jar. Welcome2Mason Pizza Party is an annual reminder of how important the first six weeks of school is for both returning and new patriots to make Mason their home!
