April 17-21, 2017 was NonProfit Career Week at Mason. Career Services and Women and Gender Studies collaborated to organize a panel entitled; Women Leaders in the NonProfit World to learn more about the life experiences of local women leaders of nonprofit organizations. Holly Kearl, founder of the nonprofit organization Stop Street Harassment. Stop Street Harassment (SSH) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to documenting and ending gender-based street harassment worldwide. Sookyung Oh, DC Area Director of the National Korean American Service & Education Consortium (NAKASEC). NAKASEC is a grassroots organization founded in 1994 by local community centers to project a progressive voice and promote the full participation of Korean and Asian Americans within the social justice movement.
