Introduces the role of social workers as change agents and the core knowledge, values, and skills that guide social work practice with individuals, groups, and families. Emphasizes use of self, engagement, intervention and planning, follow up, and termination skills with diverse populations. May not be repeated for credit.
Recommended Corequisite: SOCW 672

Enrollment limited to students with a class of Advanced to Candidacy, Graduate, Non-Degree or Senior Plus.
