The Feminist Student Organization (FSO) is committed to promoting feminism through organizing activities, lectures, workshops and participating in community events.
The FSO meets every Thursday evening during the academic year in the Women and Gender Studies Center. Members collaborate on planning programs and discuss current issues relating to feminism. FSO has worked with several departments to help plan and hold events during Breastival, Turn off the Violence Week, Take Back the Night, Vagina Monologues, Body Image Awareness Week, Women’s History Month and Healthy Relationship Week. It also maintains a steady presence in the Mason community through participation in rallies, protests and activism.
Any questions should be directed to the FSO student president, Kellie White at firstname.lastname@example.org.
